Higher correction can help with minor damage, but may make complex codes denser.

PDF and image QR codes need a publicly accessible link to the hosted file. Scanzo does not upload your files.

GOOD TO KNOW

Questions,
answered.

Everything you need to know before you scan.

What types of QR codes can I make?+

Create codes for websites, plain text, hosted PDF or image links, contact cards and email drafts.

Can I upload a PDF or image directly?+

A QR code stores data, not a whole file. Upload your PDF or image to a file host first, then paste its public share link into Scanzo. Your files are never uploaded by Scanzo.

Can I customise the design?+

Yes. Change the dot style, corner style, foreground colour, background colour and error-correction level. Always test your QR code after styling it.

Is Scanzo free to use?+

Yes. There is no account or subscription required to generate and export a QR code.

Does Scanzo store my content?+

QR generation happens in your browser. The QR library and fonts load from external CDNs, but your content is not sent to a Scanzo account or database.

Which export should I use?+

SVG is ideal for print and design software because it scales cleanly. PNG is convenient for presentations, documents and messaging.
